Hi again!  I am back with a second entry for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC57 Clear as Day challenge to use vellum or acetate in the design.  This card was also submitted to the Splitcoast Stampers CAS Monday challenge which featured a black and white elegant swim suit as inspiration.  I literally just received a new stash of goodies from Stampin’ Up!© on Monday and began playing right away.  This simple card is the result–I absolutely love butterflies (um, can you tell?) and I could not wait to open the Papillon Potpourri stamp set as well as the coordinating Butterfly punch (not used for this design).

Stay inspired,

Sabrina

These butterflies look wonderful embossed on vellum, especially against the black panel. Such a pretty design! Thanks for joining us this week at CAS-ual Fridays!

A bazillion cards on SCS use butterflies, but this one is outstanding because there’s so much to look at yet it’s so simply elegant. I love it!
